All of us at Rock City Kicks are proud to be from Little Rock. We wear the LR with pride, and we're excited to announce that we've teamed with Ebbets Field Flannels to create a new collection that combines past and present, creating a stylish and classic homage to our hometown, Little Rock, Arkansas.
In creating the collection, our team drew on inspiration from the throwback LR logo from Minor League Baseball's Arkansas Travelers, and each jersey features the number 08, representing the year RCK opened its doors in 2008. From there, the crew at Ebbets Field Flannels knocked it out of the park, showing why they're the gold standard in quality and craftsmanship. The Ebbets team's commitment to authenticity shows in every detail on each item, from the stitching to the selection of materials used.
We felt like it was only fitting to take the first images of the collection over at Lamar Porter Field, which was first used by the Little Rock Boy's Club in 1936, the field where first ballot Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson grew up, worked the scoreboard, sold soft drinks and played for the American Legion Little Rock Doughboys. Lamar Porter is just a walk away from where many of us at RCK live, highlighting another reason why we love our city. The collection will be available January 7, 2017.
